Your company policy will be applied immediately starting from when you search the flights in the portal. There are two kinds of policies that can be applied:
- Policies that will affect the result of your search (maximum price, airlines, etc)
- Policies that will require approvals for each bookings
When you are searching for flights and hotels, we will always check what kind of policies are applied to you and your booking. We will only display Flights or Hotels that complies with the policy that has been setup for you. You can check the number of available flight or hotels, and how many have been hidden as the result of policy filtering on the top bar of the search result.
If your company set up an approval policy, it means you need to provide reasoning when submitting a booking. When everything is done and submitted, both you and your manager will get a notification in your email that your booking is awaiting approval.
If your booking has been rejected, you will be notified with a sample of the email below.
And also with a popup notification. Once it has been rejected, your card is not charged, and you would need to book for another flight or hotel that complies with your policy.
If your booking request is approved, you will receive a popup notification as seen below. Furthermore, we will proceed with the booking process. We will let you know through email once the booking has been confirmed.
As the approvals requests are sent through email to your manager, remember to remind them directly to make sure they will give a response as soon as possible.
