TruTrip allows company admins to mark specific hotels as “preferred,” making it easier for your travellers to choose accommodations that align with your company’s travel policies or negotiated corporate rates.
How Preferred Hotels Work
Preferred hotels are saved at the company level, meaning they are visible and available to all bookers and travellers in your organisation. When someone searches for hotels in a city where a preferred hotel has been saved, that hotel will be highlighted and appear prominently in the search results. This helps guide travellers to stay in hotels that meet your company’s preferences.
Adding a Preferred Hotel
To add a hotel to your preferred list:
-
Search for the hotel, Start a new hotel search from the booking page and find the hotel you’d like to mark as preferred.
-
Open the hotel details page, Click on the hotel to view more details.
-
Add to preferred, On the hotel details page, click the “Add to preferred” button.
-
Confirm the action, A confirmation popup will appear. Click “Confirm” to add the hotel to your preferred list.
Once confirmed, the hotel will be saved as a preferred option for your company.

What It Looks Like When Searching or Booking
When a traveller searches for accommodation in a location where your company has preferred hotels or corporate rate hotels, those options will be prioritised in the search results:
-
Corporate rate hotels will always appear first.
-
Preferred hotels will appear as the 2nd and 3rd results (if available), immediately after corporate rate options.
This feature helps streamline travel bookings and ensures your travellers are booking accommodations that meet your company’s requirements.
