As you might know, we at TruTrip don't actually book flights and hotels directly for you. This is being done through different vendors & channels which allows us to get you the best rate possible.
Flight providers
When you are searching for a flight, you may notice that some fares show up twice. This is because we use multiple flight providers and some times they offer the same fare. There's a little tooltip when you go through them that explains this in more detail too.
There are three different flight providers you'll find in the platfrom:
- Sabre: this is where most of our international and full-service carrier fares come from. Sabre is one of the leading Global Distribution System (GDS) that airlines aggregate their fares into.
- Travelfusion: this is where most of our domestic and low-cost carrier fares come from.
- New Distribution Channel (NDC): this is a channel provider that directly connects TruTrip to specific airlines so that we can offer you the best fare available. NDC content will be airline-specific. At the moment we are partnering with Singapore Airlines and Qantas.
Hotel providers
Similar to flights, you may notice that several of the room options in TruTrip have similar or duplicated information. We are working with Sabre as our main hotel provider.
Unders sabre there are a few "sub providers" that your booking can go through such has Bedsonline, Booking.com and hotels directly.
Train booking providers
We currently only offer rail bookings for domestic China routes which is directly booked through China Rail inventories. As we expand our offering, in the near future we will also bring UK and EU rail providers into TruTrip so that our Travellers can easily book rail journeys within the UK and EU.
