Single Sign On (SSO) lets your team sign in to TruTrip using their existing Google, Microsoft or Slack account instead of, or as well as, a separate TruTrip password.
There are two ways SSO can be used in TruTrip: optional SSO sign-in, or SSO-Only Login.
Optional SSO
Users can choose how they sign in.
- Sign in with Google, Microsoft or Slack
- Continue using email and password
- No additional configuration required
SSO-Only Login
All users must sign in using SSO.
- Email and password login is disabled
- All users authenticate via Google, Microsoft or Slack
- Consistent sign-in experience for all users
- Centralised identity management and security

How SSO works
User exists in TruTrip
The user must already exist in TruTrip and their email address must match their identity provider.
Choose SSO on login
On the login page, the user selects Google, Microsoft or Slack.
Authenticate
The user is redirected to their identity provider to securely authenticate.
You're in
The user is signed in to TruTrip without needing a separate password.
Already able to sign in with Google, Microsoft or Slack?
Great. That means SSO is already working for your account. If you want to make SSO the only way for users to log in, you can enable SSO-Only Login.
Frequently asked questions
No. SSO is already working for your account. If you want all users to use SSO and prevent password login, enable SSO-Only Login.
The user will not be able to authenticate via SSO until the email address in TruTrip matches the email address in their identity provider.
Yes, unless SSO-Only Login has been enabled for your organisation.
TruTrip currently supports Google, Microsoft and Slack.
How to enable SSO-Only Login
SSO-Only Login is available on Manage, Optimise and Enterprise plans.
To enable it for your organisation, contact your TruTrip Account Manager or Support Team.
We will confirm your users are ready and enable the setting for your account.
