Welcome to TruTrip! When you sign up, you’re automatically given a 21-day free trial of our Standard Plan. This trial allows you to experience all the powerful features that TruTrip has to offer, helping you streamline travel management and simplify expense tracking for your team.
Starting Your Free Trial with the Standard Plan
When you first sign up, your company is automatically placed on the Standard Plan with a 21-day free trial. During this time, TruTrip will provide helpful resources via email, including:
- Welcome to Your Trial: How to set up your account and invite your travelers.
- Helpful Tips: Information on features, demo offers, and setting up a meeting with our sales team.
In the Web App: You’ll have full access to all features, but the Payments & Subscriptions pages will prompt you to add a payment method before the trial ends.
Setting up a payment method is quick and easy, and will help ensure uninterrupted access to your selected plan. Just add a credit card or create a deposit account, then an option to enable the added payment method for subscription billing will appear. Just click enable, then you are good to go. You will be automatically subscribed to the standard-monthly plan once the trial ends.
What Happens When the Trial Ends
If a Payment Method is Set Up:
- Your subscription will automatically activate on the chosen payment method, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
- Your Standard Plan access will continue uninterrupted, with the first payment made at the official subscription start date.
If No Payment Method is Set Up:
- The super-admin will see a paywall when logging in, prompting them to either add a payment method and continue with the Standard Plan or downgrade to the Essentials Plan with limited features. You can always upgrade from Essentials to the Standard plan at any time to enjoy the full feature and offering from TruTrip.
- For the first 3 days after trial expiry, the paywall can be minimized, giving you time to consult with our sales team if needed. After 3 days, the paywall will require selecting a subscription plan to proceed.
Managers and travelers will still have limited access, allowing them to view existing bookings and manage their trips even if no payment method is on file.
