What is TruFlex and how does it work?
TruFlex gives you more flexibility with up to 50% savings on air tickets and accommodation expenses compared to conventional flexible fares from airlines or hotels. When you cancel for any reason, we automatically refund at least 80% of the trip cost.
TruFlex vs. Flexible fares
On average, TruFlex is half the cost of buying flexible fares. Since you get real money back, you have the total freedom to rebook any route or travel provider you want. So, who is TruFlex for?
TruFlex can be used by anyone. It is designed for those who want to reduce the impact of plans changing but do not regularly change their plans. Clients who love TruFlex are mostly from the services industry, where their schedules can often be dictated by outside influences.
Enabling and using TruFlex
TruTrip users with the administrator role can switch TruFlex on and off within the AppStore, as well as customize how fees and refunds are paid.
How is TruFlex charged?
On top of a small subscription fee, TruFlex is charged 12.8% per trip cost.
Now, back to basics: How do you cancel a trip?
You can cancel with one click from the ‘My Trips’ dashboard. We cover any cancellation as long as it is done at least 24 hours before your trip. You can also contact the support team who would be happy to process the cancellation for you. Upon cancellation, your refund is automatically paid. There are no additional forms to fill out.
Getting your money back
In most cases, your money is available to spend on our platform instantly and, for those requiring a full refund to their card, it can take 3-5 days depending on the payment method.
