If you need to update the email address linked to your TruTrip account, there’s no need to create a new account or deactivate your existing one. You can simply update your email address directly through your traveller profile settings.
Email Update Process: Step-by-Step
- Add your new email address
- Go to your Traveller Profile in TruTrip, or by accessing this link https://app.trutrip.co/me/profile
- In the Email Addresses section, click Add Email.
- Enter your new email address and save.
- Check your new inbox for a verification email
- A verification email will be sent to the new address.
- Open the email and click the verification link to confirm ownership.
- Verify your new email
- After clicking the link, your new email address will be marked as "Verified" in your profile.
- If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
- Assign the new email as your primary login email
- Once verified, return to your profile.
- Click three dots, and then the Make Primary button
- This will update your login details, your next login will use the new email.
