Whenever a booking request is made, it's critical to approve the booking within the next 24 hours to ensure the price, seat and fare class is secured.
Here at TruTrip we do our best to always ensure we can hold on to the select booking for as long as possible for you but it could happen that the fare details change before it has been approved.
Typically a few things can change when a previously requested booking is requested:
1. The original booking price has changed
If the price for a flight has increased or decreased, we will always display the fare during the approval process. If the only difference is the price, you will still be able to book the flight. You can read more about the approval flow here
2. One of the fare attributes (seat/fare class/fare type) has become unavailable
If for some reason one of the critical attributes of your fare (your selected seat, your luggage type, the class) have become unavailable, or the airline for some reason gives a different type of error, our support team will immediately handle your booking.
You will notice this by a blue message in the top of your confirmation screen after payment which explains that your payment has not been taken yet and our team is working on your booking.
Someone from customer support will then reach out to the approver for further steps.
