You can manage your travel documents by clicking on your name in the top right menu -> My Profile -> Travel documents.
From this page you can change your main travel documents and any additional documents like Visas or KTN numbers.
Passport
Whenever you make a booking, your selected passport details will automatically be shared with the airline or hotel for the reservation.
It's possible to add multiple passports to your account. Make sure you set the most relevant one as primary.
Double-check that you've filled out the fields correctly. Enter your first and last names exactly as they appear in your passport. Any discrepancies may lead to issues with boarding passes and travel documents. Consistency between your passport and bookings is essential for smooth check-in and immigration procedures.
Things to note when creating multiple passports:
- If you have multiple passports or nationalities, you can add both passports, but make sure you select the primary one (you can always select your passport during the booking process too).
- You can't change or edit your passport number once you've saved it (if you made a typo, you'll have to delete and create a new one).
- If you have a new passport (or your old one has changed), we recommend creating a new one and setting it as primary. There is no need to delete the old one, it might even come in handy when looking at old bookings.
ID card
For eligible domestic trips, you can use your ID card as a travel document. Ensure it's valid for your destination, like having a valid Malaysian ID when travelling between Penang and Kuala Lumpur.
You can use your ID card for hotel bookings, but a passport may still be needed for identity verification at check-in, especially for stays abroad.
When entering your ID card details, select the issuing country and ID card number. For names, if there's no separation, the last word is usually the family name. You can leave the expiry date blank if your ID card has none, and use backspace to remove any accidental entries.
Visa
Visa information will only be used by us to help check your eligibility to enter your destination country during the booking process.
You can view your entry eligibility information when you are reviewing your flight booking, you can read more about it here.
Mainland Travel Permit (for Hong Kong and Macau residents)
Hong Kong and Macau residents that have a Mainland China travel permit can use this for domestic travel rides or other eligible booking types.
Known Traveller Number (KTN)
Mostly used for travel in the U.S.A. Anyone that has been approved to receive TSA PreCheck® expedited screening will have this KTN number. You can learn more about that here.
